The Ultimate & most collectible Viper debuted in 1996 in coupe form.  All 1996 Viper GTS coupes (known as the B/W) were painted Blue with White Stripes, reminescent of the Shelby Daytona Coupes of the 1960's.  The Viper GTS Coupes styling (second generation Viper from 1996 to 2002) was also based on the 60's Shelby Daytona.  In 1997 you could get Blue along with red with white stripes. Only the 1996 GTS had the white stripes going thru the rear license plate frame.  Blue with White stripe GTS were only offered in 1996 thru 1997 and reappeared for 1 year only in 2006 on the SRT-10 third generation coupe.  Pics above show my GTS appearing in the Festivals of Speed - November 2007 & in The Cars for the Cure - February 2008.  Both shows are annual car shows in Orlando, Florida.
