1999 PONTIAC 30th Anniversary Edition TRANS AM Convertible

1 of 35, NO RESERVE, click on pics to enlarge.

In 1999, Pontiac  made the most beautiful limited edition collectors 30th Anniversary Trans AM as a tribute to the first Trans Am in 1969 as they were white with blue stripes.  There were only a total of 535 Convertible 30th's. This is an authentic, 1 of 360, 30th's with the automatic transmission. Considerably more beautiful and much more rare than the Yellow Collectors Edition in 2002.

This particular car is # 1274 of only 1600 cars that were produced and 1 of 535 convertibles made for this special production model.    Even more rare, it is 1 of 35 convertibles produced for the Canadian Market.  Full PHS Documentation including copy of invoice and the name and address of the Canadian Dealer where it was sold new are included with the car.

30th T/A Package (RPO Z4C ) includes the following:

All Z4C options were placed on top of the base 30th vehicle, an Artic White WS6 T/A Ram air car. The most notable off all the contents of this package were the 17" high polished aluminum wheels with medium blue tint. Dual two-tone blue stripes run the length of the car from the deck lid to the front of the hood the end in the Pontiac screaming chicken. Convertible owners get a beautiful navy blue ragtop only available on the 30ths. White leather prado seats with blue stitching help provide a nice cabin for the driver with specially embroidered smooth headrests. White "perf" vinyl door inserts with blue thread topstitching set the door off. There are specific 30th T/A floor mats in the front.  On the black rear trim panel is a white bird with TransAm lettering specific to only the 30th T/A. A unique blue WS6 emblem adorns the right rear of the car. Each door of the car has a 30th Anniversary badge on it; with cloissone blue, white bird, and chrome graphics. Each car also received a specifically numbered (4 digit) plaque underneath the radio above the additional accessory outlet.  The only 3 options are a 12 disc changer, Traction control, and a Hurst shifter.  My car does not have the hurst shifter.

The 30th Anniversary Edition Trans Am is the LAST Anniversary Edition of the Trans Am.  Although GM is bringing back the Camaro in 2009, there are NO PLANS currently for a new Firebird.  Also keep in mind, GM Pontiac had an agreement with the SCCA dating back to 1969 for using the "Trans Am" name from the Trans Am Racing series.  This agreement ended with the final 2002 Pontiac Trans Am and would be cost prohibitive if a new agreement would be drawn up with the SCCA today.

The condition of my car is in good condition given it has just over 60k miles.  Everything works and you can tell this car has been taken care of.  I have owned it for a little over 1 year and it has been kept in the garage.  Car has new tires and I had it serviced at the dealership with receipts over $1k for routine maintenance including 60k service.  As you can see in the pics, the top and interior is in excellent condition and has no rips or tears.  A/C blows cold, and car has lots of power.

Why am I selling?  Really dont want to sell it, but I dont drive it as much and I just bought a Shelby Hertz  Mustang.  I am a car collector/enthusiast, you can see my collection at UltimateCarCollection.com

The 1999 Pontiac Trams Am 30th Anniversary Edition is a rare car, with a grand total of 1600 made.  1065 coupes, 535 convertibles.  Out of those numbers, 65 coupes and 35 convertibles were built for the Canadian market.  My car is 1 out of 35.  A future classic and appreciating roughly 10% a year now!!
