1997 PORSCHE 911 Carrera S

The Porsche 911 993 series from 1995 thru 1998 is the last of the air cooled 911’s and what some consider the best looking 911’s ever. The Carrera S series (C2S) from 1997 thru 1998 is (according to most Porsche enthusiasts) the most highly sought after version of the Porsche 993. What makes the Carrera S so special is its factory wide body, which is the same wide body used on the 993 Turbo. Yes, the 993 Turbo is also very desirable too, but most people do not want the extra maintenance costs that go with the extra horsepower of the Turbo as well as, an all-wheel drive car as the Turbo and Carrera 4S are. Also, the 993 Carrera S has a limited production number which also adds to its exclusivity with 1752 US versions made only in the years 1997 to 1998.

OK, here we go.  You are looking at a 1997 Porsche 911 (993 series) Carrera S (also known as C2S & widebody 993)-- the rear fenders are wider than the regular (narrow body) 993 and also have wider rear rims and tires.  It's the desirable Black on Black Leather, 6 speed manual transmission, Rear Wheel Drive.  It currently has 64,000 miles, everything is up to date with new Brakes and Rotors put on in 2006.  Just spent over $2k on a new clutch and while engine was out had all 12 spark plugs changed, rear main seal replaced, Power Steering belt replaced, air filter and fuel filter replaced.  This 911 needs nothing but a new owner.

Also, it has the Porsche Factory M030 Suspension upgrade installed after initial new car purchase.  Lastly, comes with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity stating all of the above options and a production date of 1/13/1997.

Condition--as you can see from the pics, this Beauty has just been detailed inside and out, waxed and polished and is STUNNING.  I recently had the front bumper repainted due to some rock chips that (took away from the rest of the car).  As far as I can tell, the rest of the paint on this 911 is original.  There are no dents or dings except a couple on the passenger side rear fender above the tire that were caused by opening doors against it in a parking lot---I have taken a pic of this and as you can see it has been touched up with touchup paint.  Also, the hood has a few rock chips (the size a of a pinhead) that did not warrant a repaint of the hood and are not noticeable (I have also included a pic of it).

The Interior is in mint condition, no rips or tears and is all original.  No sign of any wear.  Owners Manual with leather case, 2 sets of Keys with Remotes, all records going back to 21k miles and Porsche Certificate of Authenticity go with the car.

64k miles, 6 speed, Black on Black, warranty, aero kit II with whale tail, hollow spoke 18" wheels, 6 cd changer, power moonroof, aluminum shifter and brake handle, over $2k spent 03/2008 on service which included new clutch, records going back to 21k miles, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
